Exciting news!

We have finally found a new Vicar!

Appointment of New Vicar: Revd Samantha Tredwell

The Churchwardens are delighted to announce the appointment of the Revd Samantha Tredwell, Team Vicar in the Newark with Coddington Team Ministry, as the new vicar of St John's. Sam will move into the parish, with her husband Robert and daughters Siân and Martha, at the end of August and will take up her post following a formal licensing on a date in September yet to be set. Sam will also be spending one day a week as Assistant Diocesan Director of Vocations for Derby Diocese.

Please pray for Sam and her congregation at Christ Church, Newark as her ministry there draws to a close, and for Sam, Robert, Siân and Martha as they begin to make plans for their move to Long Eaton.
